Since the High Park Fire, CPRW has worked with partners to work on the highest priority on the ground needs in our watershed. We restore forests to reduce wildfire impacts and protect clean water, we restore river channels to ensure healthier rivers, we measure our work to know how well we are doing. In a few short years, we have succeeded in:

• launching an ambitious Citizen Science Water Quality Monitoring program in partnership with Rocky Mountain Research Station
• implementing over 300 acres of post fire hillslope restoration, including a critical water supply infrastructure like Seaman Reservoir
• restoring over 2 miles of river damaged by post fire erosion and flooding
• creating a resiliency plan for the Upper Poudre Watershed
• helped reduce wildfire hazard on 400 acres of forest
• prioritizing river restoration needs in the Lower Poudre
• having our work recognized three times for environmental excellence
