Learn about river restoration on private and public lands!

Join the North Fork Poudre Site Conservation Team (SCT) for a watershed tour and open house to learn about stewardship that benefits people and nature.

Enjoy a tour of several river restoration projects on both private and public lands within the Red Feather Lakes area that are improving riparian health and wildlife habitat while making our watershed more resilient to future wildfires.

Learn about the North Fork Poudre Site Conservation Team at our open house before and after the tour.

When: Sept. 14, 2024

Where: Meet at 8:00am at the Jack Nicol Cub Scout Camp, Tointon Building, 2331 County Rd 68C, Red Feather Lakes, CO 80545 (For Google Map directions: https://maps.app.goo.gl/urBETP9uq9cbsF9d6.) We will have carpool vehicles to travel from the Scout Ranch to 2 tour locations and back to the Scout Ranch.

Please be prepared to do some light hiking around the tour sites. We recommend wearing close-toed shoes.

It's Colorado - Be prepared for any weather! Please bring layers, a rain jacket, bring extra water, and wear sunscreen.

FREE & Open to the public! Space is limited and registration is required by Sept. 8. Lunch provided by The Forks and sponsored by Wild Birds Unlimited.
